College Day Celebrations at Agricultural College, Palem on 26-02-2020

Agricultural College, Palem celebrated its 3rd College Day in grandeur on 26.02.2020. Sri Chintala Venkat Reddy, a Padmashri recipient innovative farmer, Dr.D.Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Dean of Student Affairs, and Director of Extension (I/C), Dr. K. Avil Kumar, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Palem, Dr.Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Co-ordinator, KVK, Palem and Dr.M.Anuradha, Principal, APT, Palem graced the occasion. Padmashri Chintala Venkat Reddy garu shared his experience and ideas with the gathering and encouraged the students to develop rational thinking. Dr.D.Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Dean of Student Affairs, and Director of Extension (I/C), memorized his past experiences in Palem and said that Agricultural College, Palem has a bright future and will reach greater heights in years to come. He advised students to set career goals and strive hard to reach them. Dr. K. Avil Kumar, ADR, RARS, Palem congratulated the staff and students for the successful organization of the programme and wished the students for their future endeavors. Dr.P.Raghu Rami Reddy, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Palem gave the details of academics and all other activities taken up during the year 2019-2020 in the College. He advised the students to get inspiration from eminent personalities like Padmashri Chintala Venkat Reddy garu and hoped that the students would work hard and attain their goals. He thanked the University for sanctioning budget for construction of a new college building. Later, prizes were distributed to winners of various events followed by delivery of Vote of Thanks by Dr.K.Vijaya Lakshmi, Professor (Entomology).
