Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Agricultural College, Warangal on 25-09-2019

The Agricultural College, Warangal has organized awareness programme on ragging in association with the local police department on 25-09-2019 in the seminar hall of RARS, Warangal to the students of First, Second, Third and Final year. Sri. Chakravarthi G, Additional DCP, Task force, Warangal Commissionarate attended the meeting as guest speaker and addressed the students on punishments of ragging, in addition to that he alerted the students about the cybercrimes

Sri. B. Srinivasa Rao, Circle Inspector, SHE Team, addressed the gathering about rules, Acts and punishments, if any involved in woman teasing, harassing etc., Dr. T. Ramesh , Associate Dean gave a brief introduction about the importance of organizing this programme and suggested students not to involve in any type of ragging either in the campus or off the campus and requested the students make the campus ragging free. In this meeting all the teaching staff, students and 8 police personnel have participated.
