"Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) is a methodological approach that is used to enable farmers to analyse their own situation and to develop a common perspective on natural resource management and agriculture at village level. It is an assessment and learning process that empowers farmers to create the information base they need for participatory planning and action. Outsiders contribute facilitation skills and external information and opinions. As a part of Rural Agricultural Working Experience Programme (RAWEP), DAATTC, Karimnagar organised “Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA)” along with RAWEP students at Laxmipur village of Ramadugu mandal in Karimnagar District. Sarpanch, Laxmipur – Prabhaker, VRA – Naresh; DAATT Centre Coordinator – Dr. I. Aruna Sri, Scientist Dr. K. Madan Mohan Reddy; Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Polasa – Dr. K. B. Suneetha Devi, Assistant Professor Dr. O. Sampath, AEO, Ramadugu mandal- Rajesh and 15 members farmers are participated.
