Joint Diagnostic Field visit was conducted by DAATTC Karimnagar & RARS, Polasa constituting members DAATTC, Karimnagar Coordinator Dr. K. Madan Mohan Reddy and Scientist Dr. M. Rajendra Prasad and RARS, Polasa Scientists Dr. S. Om Prakash, Scientist (Entomology), Dr. N. Balaram, Scientist (Pathology), Dr. K. Krishna Chaitanya, Scientist (Soil Science), Dr. P. Madhukar, Scientist (Pl. Br.), P. Sadvi, Scientist (Extension) along with the Department officials visited the Korutla, Kathalapur mandals of Jagtial District and Rudrangi, Illanthakunta mandals of Rajanna Siricilla District on 13th, September, 2022. Visited Cotton, Paddy and Maize fields. Cotton crop is at flowering to boll development stage, Para Wilt is observed due to recent rains and suggested the foliar application of 19:19:19 and Soil drenching with COC and also informed the farmers to take the precautionary measures for management of Pink Boll Worm & Tobacco Streak Virus (TSV). Paddy crop is at panicle initiation to flowering stage and observed the incidence of stem borer. Observed the incidence of Fall Army Worm (FAW) in Maize. Sensitized the farmers for crop diversification, on growing of alternate crops to paddy in Yasangi season and also encouraged the farmer to subscribe PJTSAU YouTube Channel.
