DAATT-C, Mudhole-Organized Farmers Awareness Programme On Paddy Crop Diversification With ID Crops In Yasangi , 2021-22 at Abdullapur Village of Lokeshwaram Mandal on 02-11-2021
DAATT-C, Mudhole, organized awareness programme on alternate ID crops to Yasangi Paddy to the farmers of Abdullapur Village in Lokeshwaram Mandal on 02.11.2021. Dr. G. Veeranna, Coordinator, DAATTC, Mudhole reiterated the necessity of cultivating alternate crops to Paddy in Yasangi and suggested suitable crops viz; Sunflower, Ground nut, Safflower, Sesamum, Mustard, Blackgram, Greengram, Cowpea and also explained advanced Agronomic production technologies and sowing cut off dates. Farmers and scientist interaction on possibilities, profitability, seed availability, marketing, mechanization of ID crops cultivation alternate to Yasangi Paddy. Also answered the queries raised by the farmers. Dr. M. Sampath Kumar, Scientist (ToT), DAATT-C, Mudhole, Sri. P. Bhumesh, AEO, Joharpur cluster, Sri. Gantegari Ramana Reddy, Surpunch of Abdullapur village, Sri. Thota Gangadhar, MPTC, Sri. G. Ram Reddy and Sri, K. Narendhar Reddy, Rythu Samanvaya Samithi coordinators, and 44 no. of farmers participated in the programme.
