DAATT-C, Mudhole on Save soil awareness Programme & Campaign on 22.04.2022

Agricultural Research Station and DAATT-C Mudhole – organized Save soil awareness Programme & Campaign on 22.04.2022 at Abdullapur village of Lokeshwaram mandal, Nirmal district. B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture final year students of Agricultural College, Jagtial in RAWEP programme at DAATTC, ARS Mudhole under supervision of Dr. G. Veeranna, Head and Coordinator, DAATTC, ARS, Mudhole and Dr. D. Karthik, Scientist organized a rally in the village to motivate villagers to conserve and save soil. Later as a part of awareness programme Dr. D. Karthik welcomed the Dr. G. Veeranna, Mr. Ramana Reddy, Sarpanch, Abdulapur village and farmers and explained about importance of soil in agriculture. Dr. G. Veeranna explained about relationship of agriculture and soil. He also emphasized on importance of soil test based application of fertilizers and its role in preventing soil degradation and decreasing cost of cultivation. Later, B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture final year students of Agricultural College, Jagtial organized method demonstration on collection and preparation of soil sample for analysis. Mr. Ramana Reddy thanked the DAATTC, ARS, Mudhole in organizing the programme in their village and importance of programme for welfare of farmers in the village.
