Field visit on rice minikits by Scientists of DAATTC, Tornala & Rice Research, ARI, Rajendranagar on 02-11-2021
DAATTC, Tornala has organized field visit on rice minikits under PJTSAU at N. Narayana Reddy, Burugupally (V), Gajwel (M); J. Deshai Reddy, Chatlapally (V), Jagdevpur (M); Ch. Sudhakar, Duddeda (V), Kondapak and GundaThirupathi, Samudrala(V), Koheda (M) Siddipet District 04minikit rice varieties (RNR-15459, RNR-28361, KPS 6251 and JGL-28545) respectively. Dr. P. Raghurami Reddy, Principal Scientist (Rice) & Head & team of scientists observed growth performance and other parameters of the minikits. Later they interacted with farmers to know the farmers preference and performance of minikits. Team of scientists from Rice Research Centre, ARI, Rajendranagar Dr. N.R.G. Varma, Principal Scientist; Dr. L. Krishna, Principal Scientist; Dr. Y. Chandramohan, Senior Scientist; Dr. T. Kiranbabu, Scientist and DAATT Centre scientistsSri. J. Vijay and Dr. Ch. Pallavi and 12 farmers have participated in this visit.
