Input Dealers (DAESI) Exposure Visit to KVK, Palem, Nagarkurnool District on 09-12-2020

A group of 40 input dealers headed by Sri. Laksmaiah, Facilitator, Diploma in Agril. Extension Services for Input Dealers (DAESI) Programme at HSR, Mallepalli have visited the KVK, Palem on 09.12.2020. Dr.T.Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem explained about different demonstration units located at KVK farm like vermicompost preparation, Shade net nursery raising, seed processing plant etc. Dr.Afifa Jahan, SMS (Home Science), KVK, Palem had participated and explained about value addition, home making, nutrition education and food processing areas suitable for rural community. The farmers have been taken to MSRI nursery and model farm pond located at KVK farm. Sri. M. Praveen, Lab Assistant, KVK, Palem co-ordinated and organized the entire exposure visit. Later, scientists and input dealers interaction meeting were also held at KVK, Seminar hall.
