Demonstration of Direct seeded technology with Seed cum ferti drill in Rice in different villages by KVK, Kampasagar on 30-06-2021

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kampasagar demonstrated Front Line Demonstration (FLD) on Direct seeded technology with Seed cum ferti drill in Rice in different villages (3 mandals) by KVK, Kampasagar on 30.06.2021. Dr. Shankaraiah, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar explained importance of direct seeded technology in Rice. Dr.T. Bharath, Scientist (Crop Production), KVK, Kampasagar Created awareness on direct seeded technology it saves labour, requires less water, less drudgery, early crop maturity, low production cost, better soil physical conditions, fibrous root system and less methane emission (climate resilient technology), provides better to be the best fit in different soil conditions. With seed cum Ferti drill technology in Rice may reduce Rs.12000 on cost of cultivation. Total 6 demonstrations conducted and 120 farmers were participated.
