Method Demonstration & Joint Diagnostic Field Visit in Cotton on 11-08-2021 by KVK, Nizamabad

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nizamabad (Rudrur) has organized Method demonstration cum Joint diagnostic Field visit in Cotton fields at Chinna Mavandi Village, Bodhan mandal, Nizamabad district dated 11.08.2021. Sri.P.Vijay Kumar, Subject matter Specialist (Plant protection) conducted Method demonstration by involving Agrilculture department officials and explained about the Stem application technique in 45 DAS cotton fields to FLD farmers about its advantage when compared to Sole chemical foliar application in its Cost effectiveness, lowering of pest incidence, etc. Later conducted Joint Diagnostic Field Visit in cotton and observed sucking pests incidence especially Aphids and suggested suitable control measures to cotton farmers. In this programme KVK Scientists Dr. B.V. Raj kumar, Dr.M. Suresh, Sri.P.Vijay kumar, and Sri.Santhosh, ADA Bodhan, Smt.T.Sandhya Rekha, AEO.,Sri.S. Sailu, Sarpanch., Sri.K.Gangareddy, Vice-MPP., Sri.K.Raju, Upa sarpanch and demo farmers were participated covering 25 participants in total.
