Diagnostic Field Visit conducted in Cotton, Sweet orange, Coccinea and Moringa Crops on 12-08-2020

Diagnostic Field Visit conducted in Cotton, Sweet orange, Coccinea and Moringa crops on 12.8.2020 in different villages and Mandals of Haliya and Devarakonda Divisions. Also selected sites for conducting OFT on Agroforestry system. Over all crop condition of cotton is good and healthy without major problems, minor incidence of sucking pests and para wilt in Cotton was observed. In Sweet orange Dry root rot, Mangu, Multi micronutrient deficiencies were observed. Also visited Coccinea and Drumstick fields at Gudipalli village the crop condition is good. The diagnostic field visit committee suggested management practices for various problems of the farmers. The group of Scientists consists of Dr.M.A.Aariff Khan, Programme Coordinator Cum Team Leader, Sri.G.Narender, (Co-ordinator, DAATTC, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri & Co-Team Leader) and Dr.T.Bharath, SMS (Crop Production), Ms.T.Himabindu, SMS (Horticulture) of KVK Kampasagar & Sri.A.Kiran, SMS (Soil Science), KVK Gaddipalli and Agriculture Officers of PA Pally and Konda Mallepally Mandals, AEOs and farmers (25) participated in field visit.
