Digital Tele Audio Conference at RARS, Warangal on 15-07-2020

Regional Agricultural Research Station, Warangal and Reliance Foundation jointly organized a Digital Tele audio conference under Response Digital Programme Support involving 53 farmers from 8 mandals of Warangal (Urban), Mahabubabad and Jayashankar Bhupalpally districts on 15-07-2020 at RARS, Warangal. Dr. P. Jagan Mohan Rao, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Warangal addressed the farmers and appraised present weather situation and measures to take in the current situation in different pulses crops. Dr. S. Malathi, Principal Scientist (Entomology), Rice Section, RARS, Warangal briefed about nursery management in rice and practices to be adopted while transplanting and in the initial crop growth during the current Vanakalam season. Dr. B. Ram Prasad, Senior Scientist (Entomology) gave message on nursery growing tips in chilli and current situation and better management practices in cotton. Apart from these, farmers’ queries on control of root rot in cotton, yellowing in paddy nurseries, weed management with weedicides in pulses and cotton were answered. Sri. G. Ramesh, Manager, Reliance Foundation (Warangal region) coordinated the meeting.
