Distribution of Chicks under Tribal Sub-Plan KVK, Kampasagar, Nalgonda district ON 7-12-2024.

KVK, Kampasagar, an event was organized under the Tribal Sub-Plan for the distribution of chicks to farmers from Chenchuvani Thanda. The program, held in the presence of Smt. S. Pallavi (SMS-Extension), Smt. A. Ramulamma (SMS-Plant Protection), Smt. T. Himabindu (SMS-Horticulture), and other KVK staff, aimed to support tribal farmers by enhancing their livelihoods through poultry farming. The scientists provided an overview of the Tribal Sub-Plan and conducted a session on best practices for chick rearing, focusing on feeding, housing, and health management. Following this, chicks were distributed to the 22 participating farmers, empowering them with resources and knowledge for sustainable poultry production.
