Distribution of Goat and Sheep to the Tribal Farmes under Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) and Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) by KVK, Bellampalli

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli, Mancherial District has organized a programme on “ Doubling the Farmers income in Agriculture and Allied Sectors” for the distribution of sheep to the Tribal farmers under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) and goats to the Scheduled Caste farmers under Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) on 09.07.2020. Keeping in view of doubling the farmers income in Agriculture and allied sectors the following adopted villages of KVK, Bellampalli under TSP were selected with the concern of the respective village Sarpanches and with Gram Panchayat Resolution viz., Manneguda and Narwaipet villages of Nennel Mandal, Lambhadithanda (K) and Varipet hamlet village of Kasipet Mandal. Accordingly, ten (10) beneficiaries, four(4) farmers from Narwaipet village, three(3) farmers from Manneguda village and two(2) farmers from Lambadithanda (K) and one(1) farmer from Varipet hamlet were selected and distributed 10 units consists of 60 (10 male + 50 female) sheep. Under SCSP component, Malagurijala village of Bellampalli Mandal was selected under doubling of farmers income (DFI) adopted village of KVK, Bellampalli, five (5) farmers were selected with the concern of the village Sarpanch and with Gram Panchayat Resolution distributed 15 (2 male + 13 female) goats. For this programme, Dr. M. Rajeshwar Naik, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Bellampalli and Dr. Shivakrishna Kota, SMS (Agricultural Extension), Sri A. Nagaraju, SMS (Plant Protection), Smt U. Sravanthi, SMS (Horticulture) and Sri R. Mahesh Kumar, RA (Fisheries), Sarpanches of respective villages and the beneficiary farmers were attended.
