Distribution of Planting Material under Tribal Sub Plan by KVK, Kampasagar on at B.T.Thanda 09-07-2020

Distribution of Quality Planting Material was conducted by KVK, Kampasagar under Horticulture component of Tribal Sub Plan at B.T.Thanda(V), Miryalaguda(M), NalgondaDiston 09.07.2020. Guava layers (Variety Allahabad Safeda) and Drum Stick (Variety PKM-1)were distributed to the tribal women for enhancing the nutritional status. Gauvalayers (100 No.) and Drumstick seedlings (100 No.) were distributed to 50 Tribal Women farmers. Dr. M.A. Aariff Khan, Programme Coordinator and Head KVK, Kampasagar briefed about the importance of growing fruits and Drumstick plants in homestead gardens. T.Himabindu SMS (Horticulture) created awareness on nutritional importance of moringa leaf powder and health benefits of consuming drumstick as vegetable and importance of consuming guava and other fruits for improving immunity.
