Training cum Distribution of Redgram Seed (WRGe 97) to the Redgram Farmers under CFLD (Pulses) for the year 2022-23 by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli on 21-06-2022

KVK, Bellampalli, Mancherial district organized a training cum Redgram seed (WRGe 97) distribution to the groundnut farmers under Cluster Front Line Demonstrations (CFLD) on pulses for 36 No. of farmers of Narsapur village of Thandur mandal of Mancherial District on 21st June, 2022. Firstly, Dr. M. Rajeshwar Naik, Senior Scientist & Programme Coordinator, KVK, Bellampalli, Mancherial addressed the farmers on Importance of cultivation of pulses (Redgram), measures to be taken especially selection of seed, importance of seed treatment, application of fertilizers, insect pest and disease management, water management and weed management etc. and suggested the farmers with suitable recommendations in the major crops cultivating in the district. Further, distributed 1.44 quintals of Redgram seed (WRGe 97) variety to 36 No. of Redgram farmers of Narsapur village of Thandur mandal of Mancherial District under CFLD (Pulses) during the vanakalam, 2022-23. For this programme, Sri. Nagarajau Alugoju, SMS (Plant Protection) and 36 No. of farmers were participated.
