Agricultural College, Jagtial celebrated Dr. B. R. Ambedkar 132nd Birth anniversary on 14th April, 2023. Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar was an Indian jurist, economist, social reformer, political leader, philosopher, Buddhist activist and the chief architect of the Constitution of India. He was Popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, protested against social issues such as untouchability, caste discrimination in the country. He has social consciousness and wrote many books. He served as Law and Justice minister in the first cabinet of Jawaharlal Nehru. Dr. K. Jhansi Rani, In-charge Associate Dean and Mrs. R. Sushma Devi, Asst. Professor (Officer in-charge SC-ST Cell), along with faculty members, non-Teaching staff and Students of Agricultural College, Jagtial, participated in the programme and paid floral tributes to the great leader.
