Agricultural College, Sircilla- Dr.B.R.Ambedkar 132nd Birth Anniversary celebrations on 14th April, 2023

The 132nd Birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was celebrated on 14th April, 2023 at Agricultural College, Sircilla. The programme was organized with due participation by the staff at Agricultural College, Sircilla. In the programme Dr. J. Rajender, NSS Programme Officer briefed contributions of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar to the Nation and paid floral tributes to the great leader and also said that he is the chief architect of Indian Constitution and played many roles in his lifetime like, lawyer, economist, politician and social reformer. He fought mainly against the untouchability and social discrimination towards the lower communities in the society. This day also can be celebrated as equality day in India. The staff, Mr. A. Umarajashekhar, Dr. T. Arunbabu and Dr. Hinduja. N.A. and students paid homage to the great leader and the programme ended with national anthem followed by formal vote of thanks and distribution of sweets.
