131st Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanthi at Agricultural College, Sircilla on 14th April, 2022

The 131st Birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was celebrated on 14th April, 2022 at Agricultural College, Sircilla. The programme was organized with due participation by the staff at Agricultural College, Sircilla. In the programme Mrs. K. Bhavya Sree, NSS Programme Officer briefed contributions of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar to the Nation. Dr. T. Uma Maheswari, Associate Dean paid floral tributes to the great leader and also said that he is the chief architect of Indian Constitution and played many roles in his lifetime like, lawyer, economist, politician and social reformer. He fought mainly against the untouchability and social discrimination towards the lower communities in the society. This day also can be celebrated as equality day in India. All the staff and students paid homage to the great leader and the programme ended with national anthem followed by formal vote of thanks and distribution of sweets.
