Conducted Awareness cum Demonstration of Drum Seeder Technology in Rice at Pusalapadu village by KVK, Kampasagar on 04-01-2021

Awareness programme cum demonstration in Cluster fields on Drum Seeder Technology in rice conducted by KVK, Kampasagar at Pusalapadu (V), Madgulapally(M), Nalgonda Dist on 04.01.2021. Dr. M. Shankaraiah, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar briefed about the importance of Direct Seeded Rice with drum seeder. After that, Dr.T. Bharath, SMS (Crop Production) explained about direct sowing with drum seeder will help in reducing the labour shortage, increases the yield (8-11%), reduces the crop duration, drudgery and cost of cultivation. A total of 20 Farmers were participated.
