EEI, Hyderabad has Organized a Webinar on " One Earth, One Family & One Future for Sustainable Agriculture" on 22-01-2024

The webinar mainly focused on globally priority areas such as green development, climate finance, inclusive growth, digital help economy public infrastructure, Technology transformation, and Reforms for women empowerment for socio - economic progress. Man focus is to accelerate progress towards the sustainable development goals and secure a better future for the generation to come to find practical Global Solutions for the benefit of all and embody the idea of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” or the world is one family.” Dr. R. Vasantha, Professor, EEI invented all the delegates to the webinar by extending a warm welcome to the webinar participants in virtual mode. Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director EEI has explained about the webinar on One Earth, One family and one future for sustainable agriculture to the participants. In this connection Shri Sajith Kumar kunhalath Director(FI), GOI, India graced the occasion. Speaking to the group, first speaker Dr. A. Amarendar Reddy, Joint director, Crop Health Policy Support Research ICAR - National Institute of Biotic stress management(ICAR – NIBSM), Raipur, Chhattisgarh delivered talk on One Health for Rejuvenation of Plant Earth. According, to next speaker, Dr. A. Ashok Kumar, Principal scientist, product placement Lead - Asia and interim director, Regional program – Asia, ICRISAT, Hyderabad delivered talk on ensuring food and nutrition security through sustainable agriculture. The last speker, Dr. C.V Sameer Kumar, senior professor University Head, (Genetics and plant breeding) PJTSAU, Hyderabad delivery talk on community engagement towards climate resilence for sustainable growth to secure the future of plant Earth. The webinar came to an end with the formal vote of thanks proposed by Dr. R. Vasantha, Professor, EEI.
