EEI, Hyderabad organized online training programme on “Creating Awareness on GoI Schemes in Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Departments

EEI has organized four days online training programme from 4th – 8th January, 2022 to the veterinary professionals working in the department of animal husbandry and dairy development of clientele states. About 20 participants attended the programme. The landscape of training was meticulously planned under the leadership of Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI and thus encompassed relevant and burning issues. Dr. A. Sailaja, Professor, EEI coordinated the training programme. Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI, emphasized that knowledge is power in any field for action. He instructed the professionals to translate the knowledge gained to improve production and productivity in animal husbandry. Alternative feeds to paddy may be rigorously thought of as paddy straw rich in oxalic acid depletes calcium in animals. Eloquent speakers from nook and corner of the country addressed the participants on the initiatives taken by the government in the area of organic dairy, start-ups in animal husbandry, artificial insemination, value addition in dairy, poultry farming, sustainable animal husbandry and precision farming in dairy. The programme was concluded with wide round of applause from the participants.
