EEI, Hyderabad organized training programme on “Values and Work Ethics for Organizational Excellence

An online on campus training programme on Values and Work Ethics for Organisational Excellence has been organized from 18th – 22nd January, 2022 at EEI, PJTSAU, Hyderabad. 51 officers from the states of Telangana, Odisha, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and A&N Islands representing Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry Agriculture Food Production and KVKs sectors attended the programme. Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI mentioned that Values and Work Ethics provide direction to the employees to work in line with the mission and vision of the organisation. They also inculcate team work. Hence, he appealed to all the participants to attend the programme with dexterity and sincerity and implement the learning’s in their back home situation. Expressing their impressions about the programme, the participant officers said that all the sessions were dealt with precision and expertise and that they have learnt many perspectives of values and ethics. The concepts like work place culture, ethical decision making and appreciative inquiry are new and made lot of difference in their thought process. Many participants expressed that all the inputs derived from the programme will be highly useful to them. The content of the programme are An Overview of Entrepreneurship, Agripreneurship and Congenial Business Ecosystems, Types of Agri Enterprises, Agri Startups, EDPs, Agri Incubators and its Management, Agripreneurship: Planning and Establishment of Enterprises, Role of MSMEs in Promotion of Agripreneurship among Rural Youth, Government Programmes/Initiative Schemes of Promoting MSMEs in Agriculture Sector, Business Plan Preparation for the Beginners of Agripreneurship, Market Linkages and Support for Rural Enterprises, Micro Financing and Institutional Support to Rural Enterprises, Techniques for Market Survey and Analysis for Agripreneurship, Prospects of Agripreneurship: Experience Sharing of Agripreneur, Intellectual Property Portfolios for Agripreneurship, Agripreneurship with IT Interventions, Scope of Agri Tech Startup in India. During the valedictory Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI requested the participants to share success stories of the same so that impact of the programme can be documented. The programme was conducted and was coordinated by Dr. M. Preethi, Professor, EEI.
