EEI, Hyderabad organized online collaborative Training Programme with MANAGE on “Leadership skills for Agricultural Extension Management from 21-25-june,2022

EEI, Hyderabad organized a online collaborative training programme with MANAGE on “Leadership skills for Agricultural Extension Management” to the officers of department of Agriculture and allied sectors, South Indian States from 21st – 25th June, 2022. Participants from Andhrapradesh, Tamilnadu, Karanataka, Telanagana and Odisha participated in the programme. The training programme was framed with sessions on Challenges in Agri Extension Management, Essentiall Leadership Qualities, Motivation Techniques, Stress Management, Planning Skills in Extension Programme Formulation, Skills Needed for Effective Implementation of Extension Programmes, Short Video Film Making, Positive Attitude for self development, Leadership Skills, Strategic Leadership for Goal Achievement, Communication Competencies, Creative and Lateral Thinking Skills for Problem Solving, Values and Work Ethics for Self Managing Leadership, Coordination Skills of a Leader, Appreciative Inquiry as an Approach for Leadership Development, Time Management Skills and Organizational Commitmentwhich was coordinated by Dr. A. Sailaja, Professor, EEI, Dr. G. Jaya, Director (HRD), MANAGE and .Dr. D. Shireesha, Assistant Professor, EEI. During the valedictory session on 25th June, 2022, Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI addressed the participants regarding the importance of Leadership skills for Agricultural Extension Management, which helps the extension professionals to improve their professional as well as personal career. And also informed the participants to implement the learnt knowledge from the training programme in their working atmosphere towards increasing the productivity of your concerned states and bring levels to your organizations. Participants were very much satisfied with the conduct and content of the training programme. Appreciated the EEI for bringing PAN India speakers in one platform to deliver the sessions in a very authentic way. They were very much satisfied with the practical online break out sessions used in the training programme. Sessions like strategic leadership for goal achievement, leadership skills, appreciative inquiry as an approach for leadership development and motivation techniques are very much appreciative and all the other sessions are also useful for them. Twenty participants attended the training programme and thanked EEI for successful organization of the training programme.
