The on campus training programme on Time and Stress Management for Extension Professionals was organized from 23-08-2022 to 27-08-2022 at EEI, PJTSAU, Hyderabad. 30 officers from the States of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamilnadu representing Animal Husbandry, Agriculture Sericulture, Agricultural Engineering, KVKs, Fisheries and SAMETI attended the programme. The valediction was graced by Dr. S. Venku Reddy, President and Executive Director, PRDIS Hyderabad, who spoke on the necessity of time and stress management in day to day lives. He reiterated the fact that success in life is mainly determined by how we plan and execute things. He advised the audience to improve their emotional quotient by practice and determination and keep procrastination at bay. Addressing the participants during the valediction, Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy requested them to implement the learnings’ of the programme and share success stories of the same so that impact of the programme can be documented. Expressing their impressions about the programme, the participant officers said that all the sessions were dealt with precision and expertise and that they have learnt many new techniques of managing time and putting stress at bay. Many participants expressed that all the inputs derived from the programme will be highly useful to them. Almost all participants suggested for conduct of this programme in physical mode. Earlier on 23rd August 2022, the inaugural session of the training programme was chaired by Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI who mentioned that Time and Stress Management is the need of the day because stress stems from lack of time management in one’s life. He further mentioned that stress is the root cause of many life style diseases in our country. Hence such sensitization programmes are given to government officers to become aware of few techniques to manage time and stress. Further, he appealed to all the participants to attend the programme with dexterity and sincerity and implement the learning’s in their back home situation. The programme was conducted and was coordinated by Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI and Dr. M. Preethi, Professor, EEI.
