EEI, PJTSAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad and (EEEIPL) organized a Farmers Sensitization Meeting at Polaram Village Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on 13-10-2023

Extension Education Institute (EEI), PJTSAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad and Evergreen Energy Enterprises (India) Pvt Ltd (EEEIPL) organized a Farmers Sensitization Meeting at Polaram Village of Mutharam Mahadevpur Mandal in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on 13th October, 2023 as part of the NABARD sponsored project on ‘Phygital Facilitation for Enhancing Profitability of Farming Community’ on the concept of Mobile Agri Support Services (MASS). The meeting was attended by Shri. Vijaybhaskar, District Agricultural Officer, Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, Dr.M.Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI, Hyderabad, Dr. Prasad Rao Pasam, Chairman and Managing Director, EEEIPL, Shri. Satish, Agricultural Officer, Mutharam Mahadevpur mandal, Shri. Shankar, Agricultural Extension Officer, Polaram village, Shri. Ramanrao, Head, Kisan link, Shri. Akshay Reddy, representative of IFFCO, Shri. Hanuma, representative of Vyomic drones, Dr. Dilip, Coordinator, DAATTC, Warangal, Dr. Viswatej, Scientist (Extension), DAATTC, Warangal, Shri. Chandrasekhar, DDM, NABARD, Smt. Sharada, Dist. Vety. Officer, Jayashankar bhupalapally dist, Shri. Meher, representative of Kisan Link, 150 farmers including 50 farm women and five Self Help Groups (SHGs) were participated. The participated farmers were oriented on the topics of different physical and digital extension approaches, necessity of soil testing to apply the fertilizers judiciously, integrated pest and disease management, getting timely weather based agro advisories, unmanned vehicle spray of pesticides, importance of nano urea and nano DAP, importance of crop diversification by growing cops like millets, pulses and oilseeds, facilitating interaction with scientists with tele and video conferencing for giving timely advisories.
