Training Programme on Soft Skills and Personality Development for Professional Excellence organized at EEI, Hyderabad
Extension Education Institute, Hyderabad has organized a five day online training programme on Soft Skills and Personality Development for Professional Excellence for Middle Level Extension functionaries of Agri and aliied departments of Southern India from 25th – 29th October, 2021. A total of 45 (Forty five) officers were participated in the programme from Department of Agriculture, Andhra Pradesh, Department of Agriculture, SAMETI, Department of Agricultural Engineering, Tamil Nadu, Department of Animal Husbandry, Department of Dairy Development, NIFAM, Kerala, Department of Agriculture and Department of Fisheries, Odisha. Dr. P. Vijaya Lakshmi and Dr. R. Vasantha Professors, EEI coordinated the programme. The topics covered in the programme are Soft Skills and Personality Development for Professional Excellence – An Overview on Communication Skills for Professional Excellence, Values and Work Ethics for Professional Excellence, Positive Attitude, Time Management and Goal Setting Skills for Professional Excellence, Stress Management Skills, Problem Solving and Decision Making Skills, Leadership Skills for Organizational Effectiveness, Personality Development for Professional Excellence and Conflict Management and Negotiation Skills. Participants expressed their immense satisfaction with the contents of the programme. During valedictory session Dr. M. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Director, EEI has stressed the importance of soft skills and personality development in personal and professional excellence and appreciated the participants for their keen interest and cooperation throughout the programme and urged the participants use the learnings at back home situation. Dr. Vijaya Lakshmi gave brief report of the the programme and proposed formal vote of thanks during valedictory.
