Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyanon” Tree Plantation Programme - NSS Unit, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar on 06.07.2024

NSS unit, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar has organized “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyanon” Tree Plantation Programme on 06.07.2024 at the University Health Centre, CoA, Rajendranagar. The programme was graced by Dr. J. Satyanarayana, Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, Dr. M. Madhavi, Sr. Professor & Univ. Head (Agro), Dr. C. Padmaveni, Professor &Head, Dept. of Agril. Extension, Officer i/c Health Center, NSS P.O’s Dr. Sk. Ameer Basha, Dr. K. Sumalini, Dr. Ch. Srilatha, Dr. K. Aruna, Dr. P. Sri Ranjitha, teaching and non-teaching staff, students attended the program. The dignitaries created awareness on the importance of planting trees and fruit plants which increases the green cover, rejuvenates degraded forests and ensures more effective protection of forests and intensive soil and moisture conservation and also advised to plant at least one tree as a token of gratitude to our mother Earth. A total of 100 saplings were planted around University Health Centre.
