Electronic Wing, PJTSAU and MANAGE, Hyderabad has jointly organized online training programme on “Collaborative online Training Programme on Real Time Solutions through Digital Agriculture” (11th – 15th December, 2023). On day one of training Dr. A. Lalitha ,Senior Scientist and PAIO (ANGRU), A.P enlightened participants on “ Application of Chat Bot in Agriculture” followed by Dr. Shiva Krishna , Programme Coordinator , KVK, Bellampalli, about Kisan Sarathi as platform for Real Time Farm Solutions. On day two Dr. M.Sreenivasulu, Coordinator Electronic Wing, explained in detail about Social Media Platform i.e YouTube Live Streaming and gave hands on experience with step by step practical exposure to Youtube channel creation. On day three Sri D. Sanath Raj, Manager, KCC explained about Kisan Call Centers in the service of farmers and shown how KCC is functioning and sending text messages to farmers in real time. Day Four started with lecture of Shri. M. Kumar, Joint Director, C-DAC, Hyderabad about “Use of Mobile Apps /Web Blogs for Real Time solutions” followed by lecture of Sri Ravi Teja , Producer (Rythu Neshtam), Phone in Live T.V.Programmes of DoorDarshan, and Sri Ch. Chandra Shekar, Programme Coordinator (T-SAT) on Rythu Mithra Phone in Live programmes for the benefit of farmers. Final day [5th day] session started with lecture of Dr. K. Vinayak Nikam, Senior Scientist , ICAR, NIAP ,New Delhi on Impact assessment Techniques for Real Time Digital Platforms. Second session was dealt by Smt. T. Prasanna, Programme Executive, Farm & Home Unit, All India Radio on Phone in Live (All India Radio), she shared about Phone in Live programmes of AIR Hyderabad for real time clarification of farmers queries. Dr.V.Sudha Rani, Director of Extension, PJTSAU, Chief guest of the valedictory session said that digitalization a buzz word of this decade empowering all the sectors of life, is still in its nascent form in agriculture field. She requested to organize such training programmes off line to impart practical knowledge to the trainees on real time solutions available. And also instructed the organizers to bring out a training manual on the subject dealt. About 28 participants, belonging to Panjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Maharastra, Odissa, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana participated in the programme.
