Training programme to the Extension functionaries on agricultural crops at KVK, Wyra on 01-10-2020

Training programme is organised to the Extension functionaries on 01.10.2020 at KVK, Wyra. District agriculture Officer, Smt. P. Vijaya Nirmala, ADA’s and MAO’s of Khammam District have participated in the meeting. Dr Dr. P. Sri Ranjitha, SMS (Agronomy) KVK, Wyra has briefed about the Present climatic conditions, and given training on Sowing window, fertilizer and weed management for Yasangi crops”. Further, clarified all the questions raised by department officials on various problems in different crops. Dr. K. Ravi Kumar, SMS (Entomology) has given the training on “Integrated Pest management practices in rice, cotton and chilli”. Dr. V. Chaitanya, SMS (Horticulture) has given the training on “Vegetable crops and their management during Yasangi”. Smt. P.S. M. Phanisree, SMS (Extension) has given training on management practices in pulse crops. All the department officials pertaining to various mandals have put forth their problems encountered by them in various crops during their field visits. All the necessary information on the management practices were well explained by the Scientists of KVK, Wyra.
