Organised Field Day on CFLD-Redgram at KVK, Palem, Nagarkunrool dist. on 20-12-2021

Organised a field day on Redgram crop on 20.12.2021 at Iappalapally village of Thinmajipet mandal of Nagarkurnool district. as part of conducting Cluster Front Line Demonstrations (CFLDs) on Pulses by KVK, Palem, Nagarkurnool dist during Kharif, 2021-22. The CFLD on Redgram has been taken up in 4 clusters namely Ippalapally (14 no), Ippalapally (18 no.), Gorita (12 no.) Khanapur (8 no.), Nallavelly (12 no.). Dr.T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem and the other SMSs of the KVK participated in the programme are- Mr.M.Rajashekhar (Plant Protection) and Mr.B.Rajashekar (Extension). Dr.T. Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem has explained the importance of CFLD Pulses and critical input role in enhancing the yield levels in Redgram crop. It is clearly told that under chronic dry spell which is reeling in the district the Redgram is going to fetch high net return. CFLD i/c Mr.B.Rajashekar SMS (Extension), given brief information on the critical inputs provided under CFLD-Redgram to the farmers per acre are- Seed of PRG-176 3 Kg, Pendimithalin 1 lt.,Imazythapyr 250ml, Rhizobium 200 gr, Neem Oil 1 lt, 19.19.19 1 Kg and Emmamectin benzoate 100grams. Mr.M.Rajashekhar (Plant Protection) explained about benefits of timely practicing of plant protection practices entire crop period with IPM mode. The representatives from the State Dept. of Agriculture, Nagarkurnool dist. participated in the field day are- Sri. Kamal kumar, Mandal Agricultural Officer, Thimmajipet and AEO Sahithi were participated. Crop cutting experiment was taken up to assess the yield level as well as the biometric observations recorded are- Crop height-1.4 m, no. of branches per plant are-16, no. of pods per branchare-26 and no. of seeds per pod are-4. Field day was conducted in one of the CFLD farmers field of Sri.C. Bhaskar Reddy Ippalapally Village, Thimmajuipet mandal of Nagarkurnool dist. A total of 56 farmers were participated in the event.
