Field Day on “HDPS Cotton” under ICAR-CICR Special Project on cotton under NFSM 2023 by KVK, Malyal on 07.11.2023

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized Field day on “HDPS Cotton” under special project on Cotton, ICAR-CICR titled “Targeting technologies to agro-ecological zones-large scale demonstration of best practices to enhance cotton productivity” under NFSM 2023 at Korukondapally Village, Kesamudram Mandal, Mahabubabad district dated on 07.11.23.The host farmer Sri explained his experiences with HDPS Cotton. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension) explained about, ICAR-CICR Special Project on cotton objectives & importance of project in the district. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Malyal explained, sowing time, management of weeds, machine sowing through pneumatic planter advantages, importance of application of growth regulator on time, major advantages with HDPS Cotton, importance of high density cotton in light soils in the district. Dr.E.Rambabau SMS (Horticulture) explained about present horticulture crops management in the district. In this programme Sri.P.Raji Reddy, TSM, Rasi seeds and 128 farmers from Kesamudram Mandal participated.
