DAATTC, Tornala organized Field day on ICM in Bengal gram at Siddipet on 18.02.2025

DAATTC, Tornala organised the field day on ICM in Bengalgram on 18.02.2025 at Alirajpet village, Jagdevpur Mandal, Siddipet district. Initially, farmer E. Ravinder Reddy has explained the crop management practices followed by him in NBeG-47 and check JG-11 variety, and he is expecting the yield around 8-10q/acre. Sri. J. Vijay, Coordinator has explained the production practices which are helpful to improve the yields right from sowing to harvesting and given suggestions about on farm mechanization with NBeG -47 variety. Dr. Ch. Pallavi, Scientist (CP) has explained the protection practices against the different pest and diseases which are associated with the Pulse crops especially about Pod borers and wilt. Mandal Agriculture Officer, Sri. U. Vasanth Rao has also suggested the other farmers to take the seed from E. Ravinder Reddy and grow in next season as the variety is excellent and suitable for combined harvester. Further a success story of E. Srinivas Reddy on Coriander was recorded by DAATTC, Tornala in the association with Agriculture Department officials. A total of 22 farmers and Ms. Kavitha, Agriculture Extension Officer have participated in the programme.
