Field day on “ Management of Cotton Stem Weevil” conducted by KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem on 04-12-2021

KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted a Field day on "Management of Cotton Stem Weevil” at Bojjalagudem village, Laxmidevipally Mandal. Dr. V. L. Narayanamma, Programme Coordinator has explained the IPM practices to be taken for the management of cotton stem weevil. Later, all the participants has visited and observed the performance of the treatment plot. The progressive farmer Vajja Venkatesh, has explained to the participants about the management practices undertaken by him under the guidance of KVK scientists. Dr. R. Srinivas Rao (SMS, CP), has explained about the ICM practices in cotton and also crop diversification during Yasangi. Dr. R. Vishwatej (SMS, Extension), Mr. Banoth shiva (SMS, Horticulture) along with a total of 48 cotton farmers has participated in the programme.
