Orientation training to the SMS (Agrometeorology) and Agromet Observers of DAMUs in four KVKs of PJTSAU from 02-03 November 2020

Diagnostic Field visit conducted by KVK, Malyal team of Scientists. Visited the Rice, Chilli and Cotton fields in Uggampalli and Chinna Gudur villages of Chinna Gudur Mandal. The team of Scientists Dr. E. Rambabu, SMS (Horticulture) and Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) along with department officials Sri Shobhan Babu, ADA, Maripeda, Sri Veera Singh, MAO, Chinna Gudur, AEOs Sri Ankush and Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Manohar (BTM) and Smt. Pujitha (ATM) of ATMA Project, Mahabubabad district visited the farmer’s fields.During the visit the Scientists reported the Sheath Blight, False smut in Rice, Bacterial leaf spot, Twig blight in Chilli and Mg deficiency and pink boll worm, grey mildew in Cotton. 12 No.of farmers participated in the programme.

Recommendations:
Paddy: Spraying of Validamicine @ 2 g/l and Tebuconazole + Trifloxystrobin @ 0.4 g/l for Sheath blight and false smut.
Chilli: Copper hydroxide @ 2 g/l + Plantomycine @ 0.1 g/l for bacterial leaf spot and Cabriotap @ 3 g/l for twig blight.
