Fit India Freedom Run at Agricultural College, Aswaraopet on 13-08-2021 and 14-08-2021

On the occasion of Celebration of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav-India@75, the NSS units of Agricultural College, Aswaraopet organized FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN on 13th August, 2021 and 14th August, 2021 in the campus. The Run was inaugurated by the Associate Dean on 13-08-2021, while addressing the gathering, the Associate Dean of the college Dr. M. Madhavi requested all the teaching and non-teaching staff to give top priority for maintenance of fitness which will be helpful in achieving the objective of Healthy India. The NSS Programme Officers have given the brief introduction on the importance of FIT INDIA which necessitates the maintenance of fitness by all the citizens of India by regular exercises, walking, yoga, and self involvement in carrying out regular activities and cleaning. Later on all the NSS volunteers (200 members) staff (20 members) have taken FIT INDIA FREEDOM Run about 5 kilometers in the campus in days. This programme was conducted by NSS POs Dr.M. Ramprasad, Dr.R. Ramesh and Smt.D. Sravanthi.
