FLD on Demonstration of Arka Mango Special Micronutrient Foliar Spray in Mango on 05-01-2021

The KVK, Palem has been organised Front line Demonstration on Arka mango special micro nutrient foliar spray in Mango at Chennapurao village, Peddakottapally mandal, Nagarkurnool district, Telangana state on 05.01.2021 to the Mango growers. Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem given training on Integrated crop management in Mango i.e. Selection of varieties, high density planting, pre bearing orchard management, training and pruning techniques, crop regulation, role of micro nutrients and growth harmones, flower and fruit drop control, INM and IPM package of practices, drip and fertigation management and post harvest management explained detail to the farmers. Further, inputs Arka Mango special 4kg, Planofix 100ml each distributed to the 10 selected farmers. He recommended to spray Arka mango special 5g + Multi K 5g + Planofix 0.23 ml per litre twice at peat nut stage and marble stage in Mango to reduce fruit drop and to increase fruit size. Mr. Lakshman, Horticultural officer, Kollapur division explained about formation on farmers producer organisation (FPO) on Mango, Export farmers registration with APEADA, Marketing channels and GAP certification to the farmers. The training programme graced by Sri. N. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, village sarpanch and 25 Mango farmers had participated to this programme.
