Distribution and Demonstration of Fruit fly traps Installation in Cucurbit creeper gourds at KVK, Kampasagar on 21-08-2020

Distribution of eco friendly Fruit fly traps for Cucurbits growing farmers of BT Thanda known for vegetable growing village by Dr.M.A.Aariff Khan, Programme Coordinator, KVK Kampasagar on 21.8.2020. Under ATMA, Project Nalgonda total 50 traps were distributed to 10 tribal farmers of B.T.Thanda (V). Demonstration on Installation of Fruit fly traps was conducted in Ridge gourd to the beneficiaries by T.Himabindu, SMS (Horticulture) at KVK Demo Unit for monitoring and mass trapping of Fruit flies and for effective management and discouraging more usage of insecticides in cucurbits.
