Gandhi Jayanthi Celebrations at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar with high spirit and reverence on 2nd October, 2021

Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated on October 2nd to mark the 152nd birth day birth celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi at the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar with high spirit and reverence. Dr C. Narendra Reddy, the Associate Dean, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar has paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Nation and garlanded the portrait of Mahatma. He remembered that, the day was also celebrated as the International Day of Non Violence as per the UN General Assembly declared during 2007. While addressing on the occasion, Dr C Narendra Reddy, the Associate Dean, has highlighted the contributions of the father of the nation to attain the independence with non violence as the core. He also remembered that, the path showed by Mahatma Gandhi in attaining India’s freedom was very much appreciated across the globe over the years as a rare example. Senior professors, the teaching faculty, non teaching staff and students attended the programme and paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi- the father of the nation following the covid-19 protocol.
