Groundnut seed of TCGS 1694 was distributed to farmers of Morepally Viilage of Haliya Mandal under Model Village on Oilseeds on 13.11.2024 at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kampasagar. Dr. S. Srinivasa Rao, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar explained briefly about the variety i.e., characters, sowing time, weed management, importance of oilseeds to the farmers. Dr. K. Chandra Shaker, SMS (Crop Production) about fertilizer management, importance of gypsum in groundnut and mechanization in groundnut. Farmers visited groundnut crop growing at KVK instructional farm. Later the seed of TCGS 1694 was distributed the farmers. Farmers have also visited the KVK instructional farm
