Guest Lecture on “Career Options to Agri-Graduates: JRF & SRF Preparation” on 28-10-2021
Agricultural College, Jagtial has conducted a Guest lecture on “Career Options to Agri-Graduates: JRF & SRF Preparation” on 28.10.2021 through online mode under the Student Motivation Club. Mr. S. Bhaskara Reddy, Ph. D Scholar, Kerala Agricultural University, Thrissur, Kerala was the speaker for the guest lecture. Dr. S. Narender Reddy, Associate Dean has given introductory remarks of the programme. Dr. O. Sampath, Assistant Professor & OISA has given a detailed information about the college and Dr. T. Sravan Kumar has given the bio-data of the speaker. Mr. S. Bhaskar Reddy has explained in detail about various subjects in JRF/ SRF and category wise Fellowships, scheme of the examination, selection of subjects and various strategies and plans for preparation of ICAR JRF & SRF exams. Further he has given information regarding the job opportunities after M.Sc (Ag) and Ph. D graduation. Mr. S. Bhaskar Reddy is offering free coaching classes and mentoring nearly 160 students from various Agricultural Universities every year and around 21 students got JRF seats from his students during 2020. The faculty, B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture II, III & Final year students and M.Sc. (Ag) students of the college have participated in the programme. The programme was concluded with the interaction of the students with the speaker.
