Guest lecture on “Climate Smart Agriculture” at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar on 17-05-2022

Department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, PJTSAU has organized a guest lecture on “Climate Smart agriculture “and “Opportunities for higher education in USA on 17.05.2022 at College Auditorium. Guest speaker was Dr. K. Chandra Reddy, Dean & Director of Research, College of Agriculture, Human and Natural Sciences, Tennessee State University, USA. Dr. K. Pavan Chandra Reddy has invited the guests on to the dias. Dr.C.Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean briefed the biodata of the speaker. Dr.Seema , Dean of Agriculture has chaired the session. Chief Guest Dr. K. Chandra Reddy shared his vast experience in research on carbon sequestration and delivered the lecture on importance of Climate Smart Agriculture and opportunities for higher education in USA. Faculty and students were interacted with speaker regarding climate smart agriculture and opportunities for higher education. Around 150 Faculty and students were attended the lecture. Dr.M.Yakadri, HoD (Agronomy) acted as Moderator. After that, felicitated the Speaker by Agronomy faculty under the guidance of Dr. M.V.Ramana , Dr.M.Yakadri and Dr.G.E.Ch.Vidyasagar. Meeting ended with Vote of thanks by Dr. A.V.Ramanjeneyulu.
