Guest Lecture on “Opportunities for higher Education Abroad” organized by Placement Cell at Virtual Classroom, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar on 5.8.2023

The Placement Cell, Rajendranagar organised a guest lecture on “Opportunities for higher Education Abroad” on 5.8.2023 Virtual Classroom at 10.30 AM. The programme started with welcoming of Associate Dean and Board Member, Dr. C.Narendra Reddy and the guest speaker on to the dias by the Placement Incharge, Dr. K. Bhanu Rekha. It was followed by welcome address by the Associate Dean and Board Member, Dr. C.Narendra Reddy. The guest speaker was Mr.Avinash Chittapu (NIT, Agartala and IIM, Udaipur) founder iRA Academy, Kondapur. About 90 students from the B.Sc (Hons.) Ag IV year and 6 teaching staff attended the guest lecture. The speaker highlighted the need of higher education, important examinations for pursuing higher education abroad (IELTS, TOFEL, GRE etc;) and significance of good scores for achieving admissions at different Colleges abroad. He also focused on the steps in planning and succeeding in securing admissions in colleges abroad apart and the support rendered and student guidance by the iRA Academy in the process of coaching, admissions to colleges, SOP preparation, Financial documentation and Visa processing etc;. A live video was played on feedback by successful iRa Academy candidates pursuing higher education abroad in various fields (Medicine, Engineering and Pharmacy etc;) as a part of presentation. It was followed by a fruitful interaction with the type of assistantships to the students at Colleges abroad. Later the students clarified their doubts regarding colleges, financial documentation from Mr. Deepak help desk iRa and Counselor, Mrs. Tejasri. The programme ended with the formal vote of thanks proposed by Dr. K.Bhanu Rekha, Placement Incharge. The Associate Dean and Board Member, Dr. C.Narendra Reddy, Dr. K.Bhanu Rekha, Placement Incharge, Dr.V. Ramya, Additional Placement Incharge and other teaching staff from College of Agriculture, attended the guest lecture.
