Haritha Haram at Agricultural College, Jagtial on 04-07-2020

NSS Units of Agricultural College, Polasa, Jagtial has conducted the inaugural function of Telangana Ku Harithaharam on 04.07.2020. Dr. M. Sanjay Kumar, Member of Legislative Assembly, Jagtial was the chief guest for the programme. Sri. Gangaram Goud, MPP, Jagtial Rural, Sri. Rajendra Prasad, Vice MPP, Jagtial, Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Jagtial, Dr. R. Uma Reddy, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Jagtial have participated in the programme. Dr. O. Sampath, Officer In-charge Student Activities and NSS Programme Officers Dr. Ch. Aruna Kumari, Dr. R. Sai Kumar and Mr. A. Umarajasekhar has taken lead in conducting the harithaharm. Dr. M. Sanjay Kumar, Member of Legislative Assembly, Jagtial in his address said that each and everyone should feel responsible in making haritha Telangana and also should take measures for safer health. A total of 200 saplings were planted within the campus and the staff of Agricultural College, Polasa, Jagtial have participated in planting the saplings. The programme was strictly conducted following the guidelines of ICMR w.r.t the COVID 19 measures.
