Inauguration of new office cum Laboratory building at Agricultural Research Station,Karimnagar on 11-07-2020

The new office cum Laboratory building of Agricultural Research Station, Karimnagar was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Co-Operation & Marketing, Sri Singireddy Niranjan Reddy garu presided by Sri Gangula Kamalakar garu, Hon’ble Minister for BC Welfare, Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer affairs in prescence of Chief guests Sri Rasamai Balakishan garu, MLA, Manakondur, Sri Sunke Ravishanker garu, MLA, Choppadandi, Sri Y.Sunil Rao garu, Mayor, Karimnagar , Sri Naradasu Laxman Rao garu, MLC, Sri G.V.Ramakrishna Rao garu, Chairman, SUDA, Sri E.Ravinder Reddy garu, Chairman Zilla Grandhalaya Samstha, Karimnagar, Sri Bonala Srikanth garu, 16th Division, Corporator, Smt.Jayasri garu, 36th Division Corporator, Sri Mahesh garu, 14th Division Corporator along with the Collector & District Magistrate, Sri Shashanka garu and the dignitaries of PJTSAU Dr.Sudheer Kumar garu, Registrar, PJTSAU and Dr.Jagadeeshwar garu, Director of Research, PJTSAU, Estate Officer, Sri Emmanuel garu and his staff, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Jagtial Dr.Uma Reddy garu and Department of Agriculture, ATMA, Electricity, Marketing officials and Station Scientists and staff were present on this occasion. The dignitaries were welcomed with “Purna Kumbam” followed by pooja and unveiling of plaque and ribbon cutting. Later, the Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture along with all the dignitaries visited the exhibition stall of the University, arranged with the latest released varieties and technologies of the Zone viz., the maize hybrids Karimnagar Makka1 & Karimnagar Makka, Paddy varieties JGL-24423, JGL-11470, KNM-1638, KNM-118, KNM-733, Soybean varieties Basara, JS-335, Sesamum varieties JCS-1020, Swetha Thil, Rajeshwari, mechanization of maize exhibits, Sesamum Cold pressed oil bottles were exhibited. Later the Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture addressed the press and electronic media emphasizing the importance of research for increasing the productivity and transfer of technology to the farmers, farm mechanization, agricultural market intelligence committee, processing industries & value addition to increase farmers income.
