Inauguration of Sheep shed at AICRP on Agroforestry, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad on 14.08.2024

A Sheep shed (60ftx30ftx18ft) constructed at the cost of Rs. 4,00,000 (Rupees four lakhs only) as a part of “Mango based horti-pastoral system with small ruminants” at AICRP on Agroforestry, PJTSAU, Hyderabad, was inaugurated by Dr. P. Raghu Rami Reddy, the Director of Research and Registrar, PJTSAU, Hyderabad on 14-08-2024. On this occasion, he also has released 12 sheep into sheep shed. Further, he also inaugurated ‘Hot air oven’ and ‘Mechanical shaker’ in the Soil Science laboratory. The required budget for the shed and also instruments was provided jointly by ICAR-Central Agroforestry Research Institute, Jhansi and Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad. In this programme, Dr. M. Madhavi, Senior Professor (Agro.) & University Head (Agro.), Dr. M. Goverdhan, Senior Professor (Agro.) & Head, AICRP on IFS, Dr. M. Venkataiah, Pr. Scientist (Ento.) & Head, Main Farm, Dr. A.V. Ramanjaneyulu, Principal Scientist (Agro.) & Head, Dr. T. Chaitanya, Scientist (Soil Science) and Dr. G. Kiran Reddy, Scientist (Soil Science), AICRP on IFS, Rajendranagar have participated. After that, all the dignitaries participated in the plantation programme held at AICRP on Agroforestry, Hyderabad.
