Inauguration of Video Conference facility for Raithu Nestham programme at KVK, Palem on 11.03.2025.

The Chief Guest of the programme, Prof. Aldas Janaiah, Honourable Vice Chancellor, PJTAU garu inaugurated the Video Conference facility for Raithu Nestham programnme through online platform and addressed the importance of the Raithu Nestham video conference module in transfer of innovative and location specific approaches in agriculture and allied sector and climate resilient technologies like IFS, soil and water conservation, crop rotation, rain water harvesting structures like farm pond and best management practices etc. Sri. Thummala Nageswara Rao, Hon'ble Agriculture Minister garu briefed the importance of the water conservation technologies in unavailability of water times, growing of short duration crops in food grains and pulses etc. and also emphasised on climate smart agriculture and farm mechanisation in agriculture and allied sector to double the income of farmer. Later interacted farmers and scientists of PJTAU on current field level issues in paddy and other crops. Prof. Aldas Janaiah, Honourable Vice Chancellor, PJTAU, Sri. Thummala Nageswara Rao, Hon'ble Agriculture Minister, Sri Dr. B. Gopi IAS. Director of Agriculture for Telangana, Sri M. Raghunandan Rao, APC & Secretary and other distinguished person in department of agriculture agricultural university and farmers across the Telangana and 16 KVK staff were participated.
