Inauguration of Village Adoption Programme and Agricultural Inputs Distribution Programme Under Sc Sub Plan in Veldhurthi Village on 02-03-2020

Regional agricultural research station, Polasa adopted Veldhurthi village of Jagtial mandal , Jagtial district. The programme was inaugurated by Jagtial constituency M.L.A. Dr.Sanjay Kumar gaaru , later suggested the farmers to practice new methods of farming by utilizing the services of the research station and also recalled the Telangana state government contribution to agriculture sector. Associate Director of Research ,Regional Agricultural Research station , Polasa, Jagtial , Dr. R. Uma Reddy suggested the farmers to cultivate the new varieties released from the research station and urged the farmers to apply the recommended dose of fertilizers based on the results of soil testing . Later Sarpanch, Praveen spoke about the good initiative taken by RARS, Polasa for adopting the village and extended his support to the programme. Smt.P. Sadvi, i//c Village adoption spoke about the importance of the village adoption programme and briefed the activities to be conducted in the village. Dr.P. Ravi, Scientist (SSAC) spoke about the input distribution under sc sub plan. Later Agriculture inputs i.e. Fertilizers, sprayers were distributed by Jagtial constituency M.L.A. Dr.Sanjay Kumar gaaru and all the distinguished guests to 30 sc farmers. Sri.S. Omprakash, Dr.N. Balram interacted with the farmers about the pests and disease incidence to crops and suggested suitable control measures.In this programme, Jagtial MPP, Gangarajam Goud, PACS chairman, Mahipal Reddy, Vice sarpanch, Ramya sri, Jagtial ADA, Suresh, Dr.B. Raju, scientist (SSAC) , farmers participated in the meeting .
