Information of measures taken in view of COVID 19 at Agricultural College, Palem

As per the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University the Institute has taken different Information of measures taken in view of COVID 19 Preventive measures taken to prevent spread of COVID-19 virus at Agricultural College, Palem. The measures taken are mentioned below.

• Posters prescribed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Govt. of Telangana on spread of COVID-19 virus have been put up in the hostels, corridors, lecture halls, staircases, principal office and administrative areas.
• State helpline number of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare was displayed in the notice boards of college and hostels.
• Faculty members are taking classes regularly through digital teaching modes like TCS ion ad Whatsapp as per the scheduled time table and submitting the report to the Dean of Agriculture on the same day.
• Cleaning of college buildings, Hostel rooms, dining hall, kitchens, wash rooms and hostel premises (Carridors) was done once in 3 days.
• Spraying on walls and floors in the college and hostel premises was done thrice with Sodium Hypo chlorite solution provided by Venkatapur Gram Panchayath.
• Hand sanitizers were provided at the entrance of college buildings and hostels and also ensure the availability of hand washes and water in restrooms all the time.
• NSS Pos along with NSS volunteers conducted awareness campaign on prevention of Corona virus – COVID 19 through social media by sharing 04 Training Modules Videos like preparation of masks, Sanitization of houses, detecting the symptoms of Covid-19 etc on 24.03.2020, 29.03.2020, 01.04.2020, 05.04.2020, 09.04.2020, 11.04.2020 18.04.2020 and submitted the reports to the Dean of Student affairs.
• NSS Pos along with NSS volunteers also prepared videos of awareness on prevention and Mitigation of COVID-19 and educated their family members and neighbors and also involved in spraying of disinfectants and prepared masks in awareness campaign.
