7th interactive meet of Nodal Officers of State Agricultural Universities, Deemed Universities, and Central Agricultural Universities at Universities Auditorium Rajendranagar, Hyderabad on 01-07-2022

DDG participated in the 7th interactive meet of Nodal officers of State Agricultural Universities (SAU's), Deemed Universities (DU's), Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs) two day program. Dr Agarwal along with Dr.V Praveen Rao, Dr.Ch.Srinivasa Rao, Dr.P.S.Pandey, and Dr Seema Jaggi had formally launched a two day interactive meet and spoke on the occasion. While speaking at the meeting Dr Agrwal had said that there is a need to encourage students towards entrepreneurship rather than job seekers to job providers. And also build more networking with other institutions, efforts to be needed to control greenhouse gasses from the agriculture sector in the country, he added. There must be enhanced production and productivity to meet the future challenges DDG said. While addressing the gathering, Dr V Praveen Rao said that there is a need for radical changes in all aspects of the agricultural sector in the country. Further, he stated, Innovation & Entrepreneurship is the need of the hour in agriculture and needs to be incorporated in university activities. Dr Ch Srinivasa Rao, Director NAARM, Dr Pandey, Assistant Director General(Edn), ICAR, Dr Seema Jaggi, ADG, HRD, ICAR also spoke on this occasion. About 80 Nodal officers from the Agricultural & allied Universities in the country are participating in this two day interactive meeting.
